Since its inception in 2002, “ SITA All India Research and Social Services “ simply known as ‘SAIRASS’ focus on promoting health, education, livelihood trades to provide employment, National and cultural activities to bring the under privileged and the rural masses to the mainstream. SAIRASS was founded initially to study the economic status of under privileged in remote rural areas not only in Delhi but also through out other states to suggest the remedial measures to the government agencies which are providing various schemes to the economically weaker sections for the improvement of their status. To begin with first of all to ascertain the conditions started the social activities pertaining to health, education and other welfare activities. Soon it has started spreading its activities to Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, U.P. Haryana etc. It has been extending its support for health, education and livelihood trades for economically weaker communities. It has also joined with other organizations to spread its activities.
SAIRASS encourages young students to exhibit their talents in debates, essay writing, singing, dancing, folk arts and others. SAIRASS Vocational Center for destitute women and girls giving training in Tailoring and Emroidery, Lace making, Jute items making, Bamboo arts, Pickles and Jams making and many other activities. SAIRASS Organises periodical exhibitions with the items prepared by the members of Vizag Vocational Center. One such most prestigious exhibition organized at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi on the occasion of A.P. Formation Day. Dignitaries like Shri Rajasekhar Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chairperson Delhi Social Welare Board, Smt. Motia Garg, Member All India Women’s Conference Smt. Janaki Venkatraman, Sri R.P. Agarwal, Resident Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi and many other local leaders visited and appreciated the efforts doing by SAIRASS to economically weaker sections to bring them to main stream.
SAIRASS organizes talent competitions to the students on special occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day, Rastreeya Ekata Diwas, National Flag Formation Day, Ambedkar Jayanti, Sri Pingali Venkaiah Jayanti and so on. SAIRASS Organises National events, workshops, seminars, lectures by eminent scholars to enable the youth to exbit their talents and innovations in different fields.
SAIRASS also organizes many literary events joining the hands with other similar organizations and also participates in SVBC programmes.
SAIRASS has always been in the fore front to extend its help in times of crisis like earth quakes, floods, natural calamities like tufan, etc.
SAIRASS extending its support for the upliftment of villages in backward regions. Its charitable activities have given fillip to rural development projects – school buildings, toilets in rural pockets, skill development in community centers. So far four villages and one Leprosy Ashram have been adopted to extend its helping hand.
SAIRASS honours accomplished artists, teachers, in recognistion of their commendable contribution in their chosen fields with Excellence Awards.
